Inspired by the unchallenged glass artist Napoleone Martinuzzi’s cacti that were popular in the 30’s, Alessandra Baldereschi has designed a contemporary version of a classic of Murano glass art.Adelia, Valesia, Cactusia, Maranta, Clelia: fanciful names that evoke plant species and identify the plants whose fresh and extemporary lines evoke the shapes of the real plant.
